FRESHWATER Copepods - CALANOIDA Sp.

Freshwater Calanoida Copepods are active free-swimming copepods that are highly nutritious and popular aquatic live food, particularly for young fish and fish fry as a freshwater substitute to baby brine shrimp.

The copepods actively consume phytoplankton, algae, detritus and bacteria.

Freshwater copepods can be almost a complete source of essential nutrients as they are extremely high in protein, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, contain colour enchancing carotenoids and rich in vitamins (Vit A, Vit B12, Vit D) and minerals.
