Marine Copepods Dioithona Rigida are are bottom-dwellers (benthic). These species of copepods are popular in fish hatcheries because they are hardy, easily cultured and reproduce prolifically (400 eggs produced per female).
The marine copepod starter culture is perfect for aquarists who are interested in raising their own Dioithona Rigida copepods or who want to give their aquarium inhabitants an irresistible snack. These copepods serve as scavengers, contributing to an aquarium's clean-up crew.
